Roasted or Grilled Salmon

Here is a wonderfully simple way to Grill or Roast Salmon.
Wild Pacific Salmon is in season for a short time and is a real treat!

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon Steaks
  • Sea Salt
  • Fresh Black Pepper
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Servings

  • Makes 4 Servings

Preparation

Rub your Salmon with Extra Virgin Olive Oil – just enough to have a light shine –and season with fine Sea Salt and Fresh Black Pepper.

Pan sear to achieve a nice brown colour OR place in a very hot oven 450F for approximately 4 minutes. Cook for an additional minute or two depending on the size of the salmon steaks.

Salmon should be served Medium Rare but serve it any way you like it.

Finishing your Salmon with a zesty glaze is a nice touch, for example in the store we like to finish with Honey-Dijon and Fresh Thyme!

Serve with anything you like from Arugula Salad, to Rice, Potatoes, Quinoa... The possibilities are endless.
